AssetRemix has a variety of ways for you to upload your assets into our system.

1 - Creating a Single User Upload

1. Click the "+" at the top right of the screen, select "Create".

2. Enter the required fields for the User.

3. If the user is only allowed to view items, for example the user is a student or a teacher, click the "View Assigned Items Only" box. *If you use this feature, you will not be able to give any other permissions and will be taken directly to step 8.
4. If you would like the User to be emailed the details of their account, click the "Email Login Details" box.
5. Click "Next"

6. If your User is in a Role, you can select the pre-existing role, if not, then toggle the "Role Permissions" on to choose custom permissions.

7. Click "Next"

8. Add custom values if you would like, then click "Next".

9. Make sure your data is correct and then select "Save".

10. Your User will show up in the console automatically.

2 - Creating a Bulk User Upload

1. Click the "+" at the top right of the screen, select "Bulk Create".

2. Enter the required fields for the User. You can tab through the fields, or click the "+ Add Row" to add additional users. *Note* These will automatically all become "View Assigned Items Only" Permission Users.

3. Click "Save". You will receive an email once the bulk upload is completed.

3 - Bulk Create by Upload

If you have your own CSV file you would like to upload, we have an upload button available for you. If you'd like to download our template and fill in your data to make uploading your assets a quick task, we have the template and upload button available for you as well.

1. Download the template using the "+" menu at the top right of the screen.

2. Once your CSV is complete, upload your file into the asset screen using the upload button.

3. After you uploaded your file, you will be prompted to map your headers. If there is an error with one of the headers, you will notice that you cannot click the next button. Please make sure all headers are correct before moving on. You will be able to correct these by editing later, but this is the best place to ensure everything is correct. Select "Next" to move to the next screen.

4. You will now map the data to where you'd like it to go. If you are new to AssetRemix, you do not have any previous mapped data and will want to select the Full Create button. If you have previous uploads, you can select Quick Create and use mapping from prior assets. Click "Next" to move on to the confirm page.

5. If you have any fields that are red, you can edit those fields before saving.

6. Once your upload is completed, you will receive an email and all assets will be available.
